Odessa Jenkins, Girlboss and WNFC Founder
{Samantha Covone} As a CEO, Hall of Famer, and Gold Medalist, Odessa Jenkins has truly held her own in the male dominated sports industry. As a child, Jenkins recalls football being her first love and an activity that was approved by her parents. Her love for the sport turned into a career, an extremely remarkable one at that.
On the field, Odessa Jenkins is the winningest head coach in women’s tackle football history. She has over 15 years of coaching and playing experience as well as being a 7 time National Champion and 2 time USA Football Team captain. Her other accolades include being a 3x Gold Medalist for Team USA and a Hall of Famer.
Off of the field, Jenkins is the CEO/Founder of the Women’s National Football Conference and multiple non-profits. She has been recognized as one of the top 100 most powerful women in sports by Sports Illustrator. Jenkins was also the recipient of the 2023 Leigh Steinberg Denicola Humanitarian Award, an award given to individuals in the NFL community who dedicate their time to community issues.
