Let’s support the 5th Annual Women Of Color Connecting Virtual Summit/WOCCON Summit 2023
On March 7-9th, The Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership (IFEL) is hosting the 5th Annual Women of Color Connecting Virtual Summit! This is an invitation-only virtual event that will be featuring thought leaders, policy-makers, and members from ally and investor communities that are passionate about deepening their understanding when it comes to the systemic barriers that continue to marginalize women of color all over the country. We are so proud to support this event, as the summit’s goal is to create an open space for vulnerable discussions in order to pave the way for future change.
According to IFEL CEO Jill Johnson, “The message to these entrepreneurs and founders is that we are here for you. The message to the allies, investors, and policy-makers is that you must act with intentionality to open doors for women of color entrepreneurs.”
The itinerary for the event is the following:

- March 8 – Insights & Perspectives: Exploring The Need For Capital Integration For Historically-Excluded Populations
- March 9 – Panel: Changing Systems: A Discussion About Guardians & Gatekeepers/Roundtables/Gala Celebration/Awards/Conclusion
Kim Roxie, Emelyn Stuart, and Robin Wilson will be the three powerful female panelists throughout the event, and we cannot wait to support them!
