Chocolate Hummus Recipe – Yum!
Recipe provided by Tara Ivins from Plentiful Path
1 (15oz) Can of Chickpeas drained
1/4 cup of tahini
1/4 cup of real maple syrup
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
A dash of cinnamon
4 Tablespoons of water
Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and mix until desired consistency. You will need to scrape down the sides once or twice during the process. (It will not become perfectly smooth. )
You can add more maple syrup for a sweeter taste. I added to the batch I made for you but I didn’t measure. It might have been around 1/8th cup extra.
