Tips for Healthy Glowing Skin!

Spring is in the air and brighter days are ahead. Is your skin ready? Here are some tips to get your skin glowing again!

  1. Wear Sunscreen! The most important thing you can do is to apply sunscreen every day! Even if it’s cloudy or you are inside all day, you need to protect your skin from UV rays.
  2. Exfoliate! Find an exfoliation routine that works for you. Exfoliation removes the dead skin cells to reveal newer smoother skin. Chemical exfoliators are preferred over physical ones because they are gentler on the skin.
  3. Add an Antioxidant! Adding an antioxidant or two to your skincare routine helps to reverse damage and protect. One of the most common and effective antioxidants you’ll find in skin care is vitamin C which reverses the damage caused by sun and blue light exposure.
  4. Vitamin A! Invest in a vitamin A product. Vitamin A related compounds  or retinoids work by ramping up the normal skin cell turnover process.  Vitamin A can help with several skincare concerns such fine lines and dark spots as well as acne.
